  1. Ms S Fyffe Says:

Over this weekend i attended a few games to watch a friend’s son play. As i am very familiar with basketball and refereeing and have coached both domestic and rep ball teams, i am amazed at checking the results and awards and find it just laughable that the highest mens scorer didn’t get a mention. I was actually there watching him play and i know he has participated and played at a much higher level and standard than this tournament. In my judgement this level of mens, would be lucky to make domestic “C” grade. How is it that both top female scorers were equal MVP’s yet the mens highest scorer didn’t get a mention? I know both his parents and they are amazed that he was overlooked and don’t want there son to ever have dealings with victorian deaf basketball in the future as a player. After being on many panels myself to pick MVP’s i would love to know who and how you voted?
    Many thanks
